Announcement

May 17th, 2011

We have some announcements that need to be made to you fine fans and friends.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the departure of Kelly from the ranks off BBO. Kelly made the decision to leave BBO to pursue other opportunities and BBO wishes nothing but the best for Kelly and her future musical projects. Kelly is an amazing drummer and we know she will be having a great time playing around Seattle and beyond!  Please join us in wishing her nothing but the best and thanking her for joining BBO albeit for such a short time.

Daniel has also decided to take a much-needed rest from anything related to musical responsibility. Daniel will be spending a bit of time catching up on riding his Harleys, traveling, photography, and pursuing some lower key music projects as a “hired gun” just for fun. It was a hard decision for him to “take a break” but it is needed so he will be on BBO hiatus for a period of time.

Frank has decided that he needs to be adored more and will be taking this opportunity to work on some much needed side projects with Tommy during the Blackbird Orchestra hiatus as well as catch up on his tennis. Watch for some exciting news soon to come (not about tennis…)

BBO wishes to thank everyone for their support over the past several years. We will continue to keep active on our sites and update all of you with what is going on with each of us individually. We will also update all of you when we decide to put out some new material together.

Keep your eyes posted here and on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/BlackbirdOrchestra for future updates.

Thanks Everyone! You all rock!
~Daniel, Thomas, Frank
